Who is Andrew Bell

I was born and raised in Decatur, GA. While in high school I worked for Marriott Vacation Club, Kirby Vacuums, UPS, and few fast-food restaurants. After high school, I obtained a scholarship to Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU). I attended MVSU briefly for about six months, and then entered the Marine Corps. I am a Marine Corps Veteran. After the Marine Corps, I worked for Bombardier Transportation while being a full-time student. I graduated from GSU in December of 2004. I earned a double-major in the area of economics and also political science. After graduating from GSU I began attending a study abroad school in the country of Spain for approximately 9 months.

After returning home I worked for I variety of employers. I worked in Louisiana a few months after hurricane Katrina. I began my own business after returning to the Atlanta area as a real estate investor and residential contractor. I am still the owner of that business (HomeFolkz LLC). I worked for the Siebold Company for a short period of time after the housing crash, before going to work for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in January of 2008. I retired from the FAA in 2014 because of an injury that occurred while working near the runway. I am an extremely driven person who likes to take on different experiences and various challenges.

Currently engaged in the growth of Homefolkz LLC and involved with the issues in my community. I regularly participate in community service. I work at the Berean Church located 291 Hamilton E Holmes Dr. NW, Atlanta, GA 30318.  In partnership with H. R. Butler, PHA, and Berean Seventh-Day Adventist Church, the Berean Foodbank gives out food to those in the community that has or knows someone in need. I’m a community volunteer at Snapfinger Elementary, as well, where I work with Lottie Rivers and the school by reading books to the children.
